Services :
- The Homeless Housing and Services Program provides services to homeless individuals and families living in the 8 largest cities in Texas, including services such as case management, housing placement, and retention.
- Emergency shelter and/or short-term housing assistance. Organizations funded through TDHCA's Emergency Solutions Grants Program may provide emergency shelter and services to persons experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness. When available, services may include short-term rental assistance.
- The Housing Stability Services Program (HSS) assists households experiencing housing instability, who have been directly or indirectly impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, to obtain or maintain stable housing. Income eligible households may receive assistance with housing navigation, security and utility deposits, application fees, employment training, groceries and meals, short-term hotel stays, and other housing stability services. Households should ask their local provider about available services.
