Services :
- Organizations funded by TDHCA's Community Services Block Grant Program offer essential services such as child care, health and human services, and poverty-related programs. They may also provide emergency financial assistance.
- Emergency shelter and/or short-term housing assistance. Organizations funded through TDHCA's Emergency Solutions Grants Program may provide emergency shelter and services to persons experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness. When available, services may include short-term rental assistance.
- The Housing Stability Services Program (HSS) assists households experiencing housing instability, who have been directly or indirectly impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, to obtain or maintain stable housing. Income eligible households may receive assistance with housing navigation, security and utility deposits, application fees, employment training, groceries and meals, short-term hotel stays, and other housing stability services. Households should ask their local provider about available services.
